An inspirational blog of cathcath. I used to have Sunday reflections in my Now What, Cat ? featuring stories, poems and quotations. Then, they seemed to be out of place for a humor-themed weblog. Recipes for the Heart and Soul is a repository of inspirational thoughts sent to me by my friends which I would like share with the readers. The photos were mostly sent by friends. Some were free photos from Clipart Classroom. Most inspirational poems were excerpts from poems published in Salesian Inspirational Books.

Menu of Today-Faith
Desire, ask, believe, receive.
Stella Terrill Mann
This picture was forwarded to me by a friend with the caption:
This is a Thomas Kinkade painting. It's rumored to carry a miracle!
They say if you pass this on, you will receive a miracle.
I am passing this on because I thought it was really pretty,
And who couldn't use a miracle?!

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied:
"My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

|Our happiest moment in life is when we're kids. We dream, we believe and we love without condition except perhaps a bag of candies for our hugs and kisses.|
A granddaughter of a friend of mine believes fairy tale that she once said to her grandpa, some day she will kiss a frog to marry a prince.
GooD morning everyone.

|I consider Audrey Hepburn as the most beautiful actress in Hollywood. I like her simple beauty as well as her acting. Sabrina is my all time favorite movie, so is the Roman Holiday.|
Bayi forwarded to me this PPS presentation of the beauty tips of Audrey Hepburn with the instruction to send this to 5 women so they may boost their self-esttem.
I am sharing these to more women in this blog.
For attractive lips, we do not need to use red lipstick and lip gloss...
For lovely eyes, we do not need to have lots of mascara for the lashes.
For slim figure, dieting may not be necessary if...
Shampoos, hair conditioners and hair color treatments may not be necessarily important to have glossy hair...
Body posture is not all walking with books on the head...
You got two arms, use them.
Dresses do not make a pretty woman...
Pretty face does not make woman pretty.
Beauty is in the soul.
