Recipes for the Heart and Soul

About this blog

An inspirational blog of cathcath. I used to have Sunday reflections in my Now What, Cat ? featuring stories, poems and quotations. Then, they seemed to be out of place for a humor-themed weblog. Recipes for the Heart and Soul is a repository of inspirational thoughts sent to me by my friends which I would like share with the readers. The photos were mostly sent by friends. Some were free photos from Clipart Classroom. Most inspirational poems were excerpts from poems published in Salesian Inspirational Books.

Rose for Each Wish for a Friend

This inspirational message was sent by Sylvia A, a friend with an instruction to send it to more friends. I am posting it to reach more number of people. To you my friend,
    thank you for the wishes.

When we come to the edge of the light we know and are about to step off into the darkness of the unknown, of this we can be sure. Either God will provide something solid to stand on, or we will be taught to fly.

    10 Roses for You.
    One Rose for Long Friendship

    One Rose for Unconditional Love

    One Rose For Financial Wealth

    One for Everlasting Happiness

    One for Success

    One for Knowledge

One for Beauty, inner and outer

    One for Family

    One for Honesty

    And the last one for
    a long and healthly life

You will know people by the way they sleep

These cliparts were sent to me by bhayi . If you own these cliparts, just tell me so I can remove them or put the appropriate credit. I find them interesting and I am sure other people also like to know their personalities as revealed by their sleeping postures. Some of the captions are not big enough to be read so I have to type them below the pictures.

    1. Back Sleeper
The position is possible only for people who have no breathing problem that requires sleeping on either side.

The sleeper is highly intelligent and is enthusiastic to learn. Sometimes, he is filled with cranky ideas which people find hard to follow. He takes good care of his family but he does not love anybody.

    2.

    3. Back Sleeper with Legs Crossed

    4. Cuddled UP
This is my position when I feel cold.

    5. Side Sleeper:Curling UP

    6. Side Sleeper With One Bended Knee

    7. Side Sleeper:Lying on One side

    8. Back Sleeper with Arms and Legs Spread Out
